CAMC
Classic Autotest Motorclub
The club was formed in 2008 in memory of Jimmy Peak originally as PPMC and later changed to Classic & Autotest Motorclub Ltd. We meet on the 1st Wednesday of each month in Temple Golf Club at 8pm. To date we have 130 members which includes juniors and ladies.
The main aim of the club is to encourage the youth, ladies and beginners to get involved in motorsport and run events which are great value for money and enjoyable through our 6 Autotests. We have introduced a club challenge for all CAM members over our 5 single venue Autotests. We also organize car runs, car show and a vehicle display followed by a cavalcade and many other social events and all money raised at our events goes to our yearly nominated charities. Our events are all family friendly and this allows everyone to be involved from young to old. We make cheque presentations to our nominated charities at our Annual Dinner Dance & Prize-giving which is held on the 3rd Saturday in November. Since we formed in November 2008 we have handed over £50,000 to local charities.
We also assist other clubs with marshalling duties.
New members are always welcome and this can be done through our Facebook page or at our events.
